Education: College grants will be cut by 14%, $728 million would be cut from public schools, and 2,810 Pennsylvania children would lose Head Start. Veterans: $7.6 million would be cut from Veterans Homes and a subsequent $5.9 million in Federal matching funds Elderly and Disabled: $28 million in cuts for personal care homes would put older and disabled Pennsylvanians at risk of losing their housing or being forced into nursing homes. and that's just the beginning . . .
