Office Manager, Women's Law Project, Philadelphia (Posted March 31)
The Women’s Law Project (WLP) is a legal advocacy organization committed to fighting discrimination and injustice against women and to advancing their legal, economic, and health status. We have offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. We are looking for a bright, self-starting, even-tempered, optimistic person to manage the office of our small, busy, high-energy non-profit. We look for a candidate who is committed to social justice and equality for women.
The Office Manager position is in the Philadelphia office and entails overseeing all administrative functions of the WLP. Responsibilities range from coordinating work flow to intake for our Telephone Counseling Service. Work includes some human resources and benefits functions, support for annual fundraiser, organizing Board information, and support for publication design and production.
The ideal candidate will possess the following education, skills, and experience:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience;
• Clear writing skills;
• Superb working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007;
• Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritize assignments and work on both team and individual projects;
• Supervisory experience;
• Knowledge of a graphics program a plus;
• Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge a plus;
• Ability to prepare legal documents a plus.
