Romney Pushes So-Called Right to Work...For Less

From our friends at LIUNA

The 2012 election isn't just about what President Obama has done for us; it's about what a Romney presidency would do to us. Presidential candidate Mitt Romney aims to make all of America a so-called "Right to Work" nation. In a speech to the Associated Builders and Contractors, an anti-union corporate front group, Romney pledged exactly that - to crush unions and "fight for right to work laws."  So-called "Right to Work" laws cripple worker's collective bargaining rights, slash worker's paychecks, and reduce benefits. Department of Labor data show the stark difference in wages and fringe benefits between states with so-called "Right to Work" and those where collective bargaining rights are secure. See the chart.
